Meet Louis Adam, LD Parliamentary Candidate for Kenilworth & Southam Constituency
I have lived in this area all my life, growing up around Southam, going to University in Coventry, and staying local in my career as a Structural Engineer. I’ve been lucky enough to travel and see more of the world, but Warwickshire is my home with my family, and it’s where I want to represent.
I serve my community on Stratford District Council and see the issues that impact residents. I hear what they want to see for our area, and Country.
I strive to support our local community, be it through using our local businesses and high-streets, or through volunteering with Guide Dogs and other local charities.
I joined the Liberal Democrats because of the values we have in supporting local Government close to the people it represents, social freedoms supported by well-funded education and health care, and stable economic principles that help keep businesses and labour markets alive.
I believe that these have been undermined by the unstable Conservatives of the past, and the Urban focused Labour Party of today. We need to show that local voices matter. When other parties like Reform UK pedal negative spins on the problems, we need to deliver solutions.
What makes us different from the other parties is that we focus on a balanced society that tries to serve people the best; with our ideas being developed by listening to our electors, not just by pushing our own agenda. We can all see that this is needed now more than ever.
