Lib Dems celebrate a great election result in the Dunsmore Ward of Rugby Borough.

Jenny Wilkinson, Parliamentary Candidate for Kenilworth & Southam, said she was absolutely delighted to celebrate a win in Dunsmore ward of Rugby Borough Council today. She sent congratulations to our newest councillor, Jon Bennett! Also commiserations to our near misses, Stephen Pimm and Trisha Trimble.
This brings our total number of Lib Dem District and Borough Councillors across Kenilworth & Southam to 12, equal to the Tories, with the Greens on 5, 1 Independent and no Labour.
It also shows the impact of tactical voting and I would like to thank those people who would usually have voted Labour or Green but leant us their support this time. Tactical voting will make all the difference come the General Election.
